As you probably already know by now, there's a recent drama over at Mangadex regarding scanlation groups leaving over the admins decision of eventually going legit. I was still on holiday when that occurred, I only heard of that news recently. I am not very active on the MD community and forums. For me, MD is a platform for me to share my translated works (and pretty good one at that). While it is pretty saddening that many scanlation groups are leaving taking their worked series with them, I could still read them at their site, so it's not a complete loss. It is their choice, and people would have to appreciate that.
I use MD out of your recommendation and I have also been recommending it to my friends. It's the only site I know that give proper credits to the scanlator and provides link to the scanlator's sites while providing ad-free reading experience, and that is the nicest thing a scanlator could ask for out of a manga site. If someday they ever decide of going legit and delete all of the fan translated content, I would probably upset at first, but then I would come to acceptance that as a platform, MD has to grow and going legit is one heck of an achievement.
So what do you think about the whole MD drama? Leave your thoughts in the comments below.
Now here's a random haiku:
After effects toolsI recently learning how to use after effects for AMV purpose. I don't know if I did it wrong, but rotobrushing a character took way longer than what I assumed was.
Learning to use rotobrush
Oh god, please help me
About these chapters: as per usual, shout-out to Eva (and Mayu) for the always amazing work on cleaning and typesetting. There is nothing but pleasant things in these chapters so you can rest assured. Other than that, I have nothing else to say.
So here are the first update after my holiday, next week is an Umakawa update.
