Also an announcement is in order. I decided to pick up a new project. Unlike previous translation project, this is a Webnovel translation project. The series is called "Maou desu. Onna Yuusha no Hahaoya to Saikon Shita no de, Onna Yuusha ga Giri no Musume ni Narimashita" (I am a Demon King. I Got Remarried to a Mother of a Brave Woman, so She Became My Daugther-In-Law) or as I like to refer it "Maou Saikon" for short.
I found this series at LHScan website and decided to translate the WN version instead of the manga for reason you are probably already familiar if you have been reading this site. I cannot possibly add another manga translation project after putting so many previous project on undefined hiatus and delays. So instead I translate the WN version because there is no cleaning and typesetting process involved, it is easier for me.
Another reason is that my brother have been suggesting me to try translating light novels for a couple of years now. However, I could not find a good series for me to translate. When I discovered this series for the first time, I went and read the first eight chapters of the Japanese WN. Using google translate, I was able to read them rather easily (Eagle sure is a loving husband). So I thought, this series should be simple enough for me.
So yeah, this will be a weekly series I will be doing. I will translate one chapter a week trying to keep up with the pace of the manga version. For patrons, they get to read the release one week before it is available to the public. I will still do other manga projects, so don't worry about that.
About this week's War on Geminar: I see some comments on MangaDex of how they are disappointed about last chapter. I couldn't help but agree. A lot of people reading this thinking they will materials that goes beyond after the anime's conclusion. Sort of a sequel, I suppose. Unfortunately, that is not what this manga adaptation is. This is a manga adaptation for the whole anime series, while it does provide with a story that isn't on the original, the author tried not to stray off the original source. It is only two volumes long, so the author had to get push some of the characters into the side. And I think that's what damaged this manga adaptation the most. I do hope that someone would translate or summarize the Light Novel adaptation though. FapFapperson from UselessTenchi forum have a machine translated version of the Light Novel version in his website. So you can try to read that.
