Ake no Tobari Ch. 174-175

Nanaten here continuing from my last week's venture into Grey's Anatomy. I am now on season 5 at the episode where they introduced Arizona.

Random thoughts: this week, Dengeki Bunko announced that they will release a new Haruhi Suzumiya light novel. I am so excited by this news. It's almost 10 years since the last novel, and with Haruhi-chan spin-off manga ended a couple of years ago, I was almost convinced that the series ended for good. The last novel ended on a pretty good bookend on Kyon and Haruhi's journey, hinting at their future relationship together. And re-reading the manga last month left me with a sense of satisfaction. Despite the upcoming novel is actually a compilation of short stories written by Ito-sensei, I'm looking forward to read about Kyon, Haruhi, the rest of SOS Brigade, and their antics. And who knows, maybe we'll be getting a season three. Dengeki Bunko has the tendency to produce an anime adaptation of their books when the series reaches it's 20th anniversary.

Ake no Tobari related news: Momochi Dori sensei recently announced that Ake no Tobari is now available at LINE Manga app. You know, the Japan exclusive manga website that also hosts Miku Morinaga sensei's "Kimi no Koe". Robubead was kind enough to share a screenshot of the image quality comparison.
Would've been nice if I can rip the manga from that app instead, but I want to support the series directly straight to the source. So please, support Ake no Tobari by downloading your local Comico/Pocket Comics app. Comico is available in Japanese, Mandarin, Taiwanese, Korean, and Thai, so if you are living in those country, please use the app. Same goes for those living in North America and Singapore, please download the Pocket Comics app. You can also download Pocket Comics through a third party apk sites, for those living outside those areas.

Speaking of which, I don't know if I have mentioned this before, but for the past year, Momochi Dori sensei had been asking fans if they want to see Ake no Tobari to be published in physical format. And recently Momochi Dori-sensei tweeted if the fans would like to purchase should there a physical copy. Again, all of this depends on whether or not you support Ake no Tobari on the official apps.
One of the fastest way is to go to the official Japanese Comico app/website, click on the Inquiry link and fill the request. Unfortunately, it's in Japanese and I myself didn't quite get the how to on that department yet, so I haven't tried to do it myself. But it seems to be the only way available at the moment according to Momochi Dori-sensei, so I anybody knows how to fill out the request form in Japanese, please let me know in the comments.

So here are the chapters. Next week will be a Corseltel update, but before that, here's a fanart Robubead based on a tweet I sent him last year.
