Ake no Tobari Ch. 21

Nanaten here and Happy Ramadhan for muslims out there. Due to constant power breaking, my pc is now broken. Fortunately, I already uploaded next chapter on my google photos so all is good.

Recently,I read this Chinese web novel, I'm Really a Superstar. My brother recommended it to me. There's something about this novel feels satisfying.

Quick announcement from the author: he just announced that Ake no Tobari will go on hiatus due to health reason. He also said that he'll be back once he's healthy again. The translation still continues though.

Speaking of Ake no Tobari translations, I just found out that there's a Turkish scanlation in Batoto. I put my setting to show only English chapters, so I just found out about it. Right now, Ake no Tobari is available in original Japanese, English, Korean, Thai, Russian, and Turkish. It makes me happy to know that people enjoy this series.

So here's a baton touch chapter. From here on, Reimei's in charge. I'll see you next week.

Chapter 21.

Ake no Tobari Ch. 20

Nanaten here. I'm finally back at the city, basking in LED lights and unbalanced diet.

During the past three months, my brother had been buying stuff which means less space for us to live in. Here's the picture of our workspace just to show how cramped it is:

And for that reason, earlier this year, we decided that it's time to move out. My parents built a new house and the construction is almost finished.

About this chapter: some of the lines are really confusing. I get the gist of what they're trying to say, but it was hard to convey those into English. Combined with my poor English and you have this.

So here's Yokai and humans chapter. I already done with next chapter last night. You can read it by becoming my patron. If you have suggestions or you find mistakes, let me know in the comments. I also read Batoto and Kissmanga comments.

Chapter 20.

Huge shoutout to my patron:
NICHOLAS HALL
Thank you for your support this month.

Ake no Tobari Ch. 19

Nanaten here. My departure got delayed until Wednesday, so yeah.

I just realized that I've finished more songs in the past three months than I ever did last year. There's Chisana Boukensha (Konosuba ED), White Light (Tales of Zestiria OP), Saraba (Atashinchi ED), and Burning Rangers theme song (though I only recorded one so far). And I was working on God Knows and Lost My Music from Haruhi Suzumiya series on a road trip yesterday.

When I visited Gangan Online's site, I saw a new series, Suki x Suki. It was based on a one-shot about an invisible girl and the only guy who can see her. The twist is that the girl doesn't realize that the guy can see her. Back when  I actually voted for this series back when it was a one-shot, along with one other one-shot. To see it actually get serialized makes me happy. It feels like my vote actually counts. Is this what presidential election feels like?

A lot of people (including myself) complained about Meyui's four eyes. But he is the most chill dude in this series. It's like his eyes can see everything. And in the next few chapter, we get to see his character.

Speaking of this series, we're running out of art from the author. So, now I'm accepting fanarts. just send it via twitter to the author's twitter page @mo2chidori with hashtag #akenotobari.

So here's Yokai subordinate chapter. Next chapter, we'll see the fruits of Tobari and Reimei's effort.

Don't forget to comment if you find mistakes. Thank you.

Ake no Tobari Ch. 18

Hi, Nanaten here. I'll leave the mountains and back to the city life in a week. The thought of not finishing the report on time terrifies me.

Lately I've been researching on how to buy song license so I can make a cover. And since I don't have a credit card, every options are expensive to me (you cheapskate!). I want to make Bahasa Indonesia cover of "White Light" by superfly (Tales of Zestiria OP). The lyrics are done and all I need is the instrumental version. As you can guess, I don't have any money to hire an editor, much less a composer.

Complain about my finance aside, I still going to try record it once I get back to the city. And I'll probably going to re-record most of my covers. I forgot to mention this last month, but I already done recording Bahasa Indonesia version of Chiisana Boukensha. It's on my soundcloud, in case if you want to hear my voice on a sh*tty headphone.

Enjoy this Tsumugi x Reimei chapter. I keep laughing every time I see this picture after reading it. You'll understand why. Next chapter might come a little late. Sorry in advance.

Ake no Tobari Ch. 17

Nanaten here. Recently, I've been reading Isekai Izakaya Nobu and realized how I really need a proffreader. Then again, I remember why I make this blog in the first place: for that exact reason. Even though I rarely put up a second version of my translation (or fix anything for that matter. I still haven't fixed Fudekage yet).

I do realize my mistakes but unfortunately I always realized it way too late and I'm too lazy to make a second (or fourth) version at the same day (I should make a short comics of how I usually translate).

If you want to proffread, just put it in the comments below and I'll (probably) fix it once I get back at the city. Citrus Project was supposed to be about me working together with everyone (with me as the center of it cause I'm a narcissist).

Oh, by the way, I just updated my Patreon page. If you get any more idea for rewards and goals, please let me know.

So here's Kuize trying to slash everything chapter. Don't forget to check Izakaya Nobu manga (and LN). It's really good. Tell Loli I said hi. Thank you for your support and I'll see you next week.

Ake no Tobari Ch. 16

Nanaten here. My parents visited last night (thanks for the care package, Mom). I don't speak that much, so from the outside view, we seemed like communicating without words. At least, that's how I perceive it.

It got me thinking: while I'm sitting in my room up here in the mountains, life happens outside. There's a Japan culture festival that I'm missing out. It left me devastated for some ridiculous reasons.

Anyway, in this chapter, we see Kuize's motivation for killing yokai. Needless to say, Kuize and village chief are two of my least favorite characters. Yeah, that's right, I like the mysterious bad guy. His name was revealed on the latest arc, so that's gonna take a really long time till we catch up.

In case if you're asking about what Tsumugi is saying above, Setsubun is the day before the beginning of spring in Japan. There's a tradition of throwing beans to repel demons outside of people's houses. I don't have to explain the jokes here, right?

Monthly Shonen Magazine June Issue

Nanaten's Random Friday

It's that time of the month again (I need to stop making this kind of joke). The site got updated earlier than expected. One new series started serialization in this magazine and I still don't have access to Kawahara Masatoshi's new manga. Sumire Suou (Sayonara, Watashi no Kurama) is on the cover.
