Isekai Seikishi Monogatari Vol. 2 Ch. 7 & T-Sensei Vol. 2 Ch. 7-8

Nanaten here. Happy Eid-Il Fitr for fellow muslims out there. It's good to be back at my hometown catching up with old friends and to see how they have been. I do get a little bit jealous to see how successful/happy they are with their lives.

So here's an old series I decided to (re)revive: War on Geminar. I read the english scanlation of Ai Tenchi Muyo by Tenchi Forums and I was reminded about this series. I was afraid that those guys might take over the series, so I pulled a 20th Century Fox move and continued this translation project.

It didn't took me a while to get reacquainted with the terms used in this project (thanks, wikipedia). I didn't have to spend 13 hours of binge watching the anime, no matter how much I wanted to now that I think about it. I had fun with typesetting this chapter, choosing which font to use. I hope I will be able to finish the volume/series properly this time. I mean five chapters to go. How hard can that be?

I also had fun translating these T-Sensei chapters. Once again, props to Eva from Mavi Manga for the amazing typesetting. I noticed a couple of mistakes in my translation because the way I wrote my script before I send it to them. There are many speech bubbles with uneven center alignment because I separate most lines with space key. I also forget to use backspace from time to time so there are many mistakes I didn't erase. Couple those with constant typos, and you have recipe for middle-low tier translation quality.

I've tried to fix some of those mistakes post-editing. But then I realized that I didn't have some of the fonts used in those chapters. It's fun to try find substitutes for those fonts but some of them lost their impact in the process. On unrelated note, the funniest part of the chapters for me are the part where the boys shout "Pew Pew Pew" and T-Sensei looked at them proudly.

So here're this week's chapters. I might have to get back to the city earlier next week.
